2024 JUNIOR SEASON

Dear Junior Families,

Welcome to the 2024 football (soccer) season at Taroona Football Club.

Football Tasmania and the CRJFA have moved to a new registration system for 2024 for all junior players and unfortunately the system is not yet available for registrations.

In order to put teams together and complete the team nominations by the due date we are using an interim form to collect information on players for 2024.

Before the season starts in April the system will be available and all players will have to be registered and fees paid in order to play.

Player Details Forms Due Date:

The time to complete this form is short given the delays with waiting for the system so please don’t put off completing it if your child wants to play.

Please complete and submit a form for each child who will play in 2024 by FRIDAY 8 MARCH to enable enough time to put teams together and complete the team nominations by the closing date.

2024 Fees:

U5-U7: $110

U8-12: $155

Volunteers and Coaches: Free

Information on using Ticket to Play vouchers will be available at the time of registration and

payment.

Season Dates:

The dates for this season are:

Grading Rounds – 6 & 13 April

Rounds 1-5 – 4 May till 1 June (Saturdays)

Rounds 6-9 – 15 June till 6 July (Saturdays)

Rounds 10-14 – 27 July till 24 August (Saturdays)

Hobart Cup - 30 August till 1 September (U8 to U12 only)

Taroona Football Club Presentation Day - 7 September

Training for teams will commence the week beginning 1 April and will finish the week starting 19 August.

Parent Volunteers:

Each team will need a parent volunteer coach and a parent volunteer team manager. Please

consider if you can take on such a role. A team may not be able to be registered if these positions aren’t filled.

Volunteers will need WWVP registration.
