MINITILLIES KICK-OFF FOR GIRLS

The MiniTillies Kick-Off for Girls Program is Taroona FC's introductory football program for girls aged 4-11 years old. The program is delivered once a week for 8-weeks with each session 60 minutes in duration. The program is delivered in a safe and inclusive environment. During the program girls build confidence while learning the basic skills of the game without the added pressure of performing in games against other teams.

The objective of the program is to give girls new to football the opportunity to try football in a supportive and fun environment with the intention of helping them transition into local club football in coming years.

 

The Coordinator is the point of contact for parents, set up & pack down the sessions and are there to ensure all sessions run smoothly and efficiently. Their role within the program is to: Promote the program locally and through existing networks; Be the point of contact for parents; Coordinate Coaches; Manage the operational aspects of the program, including equipment, program set-up, facility management, and program delivery; and

Work with the Taroona FC SKiLLS Training Program Manager to manage all program enquiries.

 

Our Coaches are facilitators of fun football practices. Each Coach/Facilitator is responsible for a group of a maximum of 10 participants and will remain with that group for the duration of the program.

Their role within the program is to: Plan, prepare, deliver, and review each and every session (session plans will be given); Keep the games moving fluently, limiting stoppages and encourage all players; Create an environment that ensures all players have fun and have maximum involvement; and Be flexible, patient and positive.

Each Coach has/willing to undertake a (Grassroots) MiniRoos Football Coaching certificate and is able to offer a great football experience.

 

Taroona FC is seeking applications for program coaches/facilitators and coordinator to become part of the 2024 MiniTillies Kick-Off for Girls Program. The Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the smooth delivery of the program and delivery of sessions at the designated location. Coaches/Facilitators will be responsible for the delivery of the sessions. For more information please refer to the position descriptions.
