Taroona FC are excited to announce Riley Pitchford as our Womens Super League Head Coach for the 2025 season and Stefan Stimson as Assistant Coach.
Riley is well known at Taroona FC, he has been WSL Assistant for the last 2 seasons, but stepped back to coach the Men's Championship side for the second half of 2024, and is now excited to take on the women's state league side.
Riley said,
“It will be a really exciting challenging stepping up into this league. There is a really exciting group of younger players coming through. I am looking forward to continue to develop the work that Karen Wills has done. With a focus on continuing to improve the skills, the confidence and the tactical ability of the WSL squad.”

Stefan Stimson will play a key role as Assistant Coach in supporting Riley and the players to ensure we continue to improve the quality of football played on the field and to ensure we maintain our club culture.
Stefan said,
"I would like to bring the experience I have had over the years and support Riley as head coach. Taroona Football Club is built around community and culture and it is a really positive club with a can do attitude. I feel very lucky to be able to step into this role."
Karen Wills will continue to support the women's program as Head of Women's Super League Program.
Karen said,
"I am looking forward to supporting Riley and Stefan as they continue the development of our WSL squad. It is rewarding to see the impact of our youth programs, with a number of exciting young players expected to challenge for places in the WSL squad."
