CLUB ROLES NEEDED

Taroona Football Club are looking for the below roles to be filled for 2023.


Saturday Junior Grounds Coordinator

Paid Role $1000 for the Junior Season

Starts 29th April, Ends 26th August, No games in school holidays


ROLE: Set Up & Pack Up for junior games at Taroona High School Top & Bottom Oval each Saturday. Set up by 8AM, pack up, which is after last game and is normally about 2:30PM/3PM, in between your time is yours.

If poor weather, required to assess ground on Saturday morning and if not safe to play communicate to Taroona FC Junior Coordinator.

Member Protection Information Officer

Volunteer Role

Starts ASAP, Ends 21st December (invited to continue following year)


Role: Member Protection Information Officers play an important role in a club. They provide information and guidance on complaints procedures - they are the 'go to' person if you want to discuss problems at your club/association, particularly if you are considering making a formal complaint. A member protection information officer (MPIO) is the first point of contact in a club or sporting organisation for any enquiries, concerns or complaints around harassment, abuse and other inappropriate behaviour. The MPIO listens and acts as a sounding board, clarifies basic points and concerns, refers to a sport’s member protection or welfare policy.

The MPIO will have access to an MPIO email address and will have their name and club email on the Taroona FC website for club members to be able to contact if needed.

Main Club Support/Contact Person: Club Technical Director, Youth Coordinator & Junior Coordinator & Report to Committee where needed
