Congratulations Riley!

The whole Taroona FC crew extends a hearrrrty congratulations to Riley Pitchford, who has recently completed his Football Australia AFC B-Diploma!

When asked about the process of attaining the diploma, Riley shared: "It was a great experience - receiving high quality content and being able to work alongside some incredible coaches from across the state. I especially appreciated being able to share ideas and receive feedback in a safe and supportive environment."

After being involved with Taroona FC's WSL team in an Assistant Coach capacity, then heading the Men's Championship program part-way through the 2024 season, Riley is now looking forward to honing his skills as he works with the WSL squad over the next 12 months as WSL Head Coach. Riley says: "I’m eager to continue down the professional coaching pathway by attempting the A Diploma in future with aspirations of working in elite, high-performance football."
