FT Awards Night



Saturday September 14th saw Football Tasmania host their annual End of Season Awards night, which saw a few of our Pirates receive special awards for their efforts during the 2024 season!


The Kappa Southern Men’s Championship Coach of the Year was won by Riley Pitchford, and Tayla Thomas won Southern Women’s Championship Coach of the Year. WSL goalkeeper, Izzy Ottavi, won the Save of the Season award for their double save agains Launceston United in Round 11 of the competition.


Key Men’s Championship player, Sam James, cleaned up - winning both the Kappa Southern Men’s Championship Best & Fairest Award, and the Golden Boot for most goals scored throughout the season. Well done all!
