This program is for girls wishing to pursue a Development or High Performance pathway. Academy players are expected to participate in a minimum of two, and ideally three SKiLLS sessions per week. This includes x1 Girls Football Academy session and one or two other SKiLLS sessions: Junior, Youth or Advanced SKiLLS.

The Taroona FC teams entered into for the Football Tasmania Junior & Senior Youth Girls Leagues, which will be the 2021 Girls Football Academy teams, will be selected from the Term 1 SKiLLS Girls Football Academy sessions.

This program will be lead by Head of Youth Development, Holly-Lace Ayton and coached by accredited coaches Maddy Lane and Bella McGinn.

"Our club strives to provide opportunities for young players wishing to pursue their football to a higher level. Our aim is to create a healthy and enjoyable learning environment. We are in the process of creating connections with interstate clubs so that the players, if that is their goal, can have interstate experiences and opportunities can further their footballing ambitions." Shared Holly-Lace Ayton.
