In the Women's Summer Cup, our Senior Women's team have hoisted the pirate flag one notch higher with their recent victory. A dominant 3-0 win (Holly-Lace Ayton 1, Maddy Lane 1, Caity Riley 1) over Metro FC on a chilly Friday night has bumped their ladder standing to 3rd, and keeps their Cup Final hopes bobbing steadily on the horizon. Their next game against Kingborough will be the deciding factor, with our Senior Women taking on our local rivals at 12pm on Saturday, at Clennett's Lightwood Park.

Our Men's Championship team has been busy raking in the wins this week, kicking off last weekend with a 3-0 triumph (Noah Gardner 1, Fergus Bridge 1, Jake Stuart 1) against Kingborough, then backing up their domination with a mid-week shocker over South East United. Fergus Bridge, in fine form and with impeccable style, found the back of the net twice in the first half with the lads conceding from a corner later in the game to leave the final score at 2-1. In their last game of the pool stage, our Men's Champ team faces a second placed University at KGV, 2pm on Saturday.

Our WSL Development League debuted against Kingborough Lions last weekend, suffering an unfortunate 0-9 loss. Going forwards, Head Coach, Holly-Lacy Ayton, is looking to focus on the individual development of each player and continuing to build their game understanding throughout the remaining matches. Ayton said, "It's great to see there's lots of young girls committing to a higher more dedicated level, and this [upcoming] game is another opportunity to express themselves on the field and to challenge themselves." Our WSL Dev team takes on Clarence Zebras on Saturday, at 10am at KGV.

Best of luck to all our teams this weekend!
