A huge congratulations to our Men’s Championship Pirates for winning their Cup game on Wednesday night, making their current Championship League Cup campaign a perfect 3 from 3 streak. After an early South Hobart goal, our Pirates were able to make the most of the remaining first half, putting away three goals of their own (Fabian Natoli, Fergus Bridge, Ramiro Vilar) and they won the game 3-2. Check out Walter Pless’ blog for a detailed match review.

Prior to this game, our Men’s Championship Reserves took on South Hobart FC as well, but were unable to avoid the 2-4 loss, despite some great second half goals from Aidan Taylor and Jasper Gardner. Well done to both teams! We look forward to cheering them on at Olinda Grove this weekend when they take on University FC, in what will no doubt be an exciting pair of games to watch.
