Our Men's Championship team suffered their first loss of the year against Hobart United after conceding a goal in the first half and being unable to break even in the second, leaving the final score at 0-1. They now look to recreate the magic of the Summer Cup final this weekend at Darcy Street, when they take on a familiar South Hobart outfit. If this Saturday's game is anything like the recent final, it'll easily be the match to watch this weekend.

Our Men's Championship 1 team had better luck last weekend against Hobart United, with J. Rutheford opening the game with an early goal, and T. Dove scoring a brace in the second half to consolidate the score at 3-1. Unfortunately, our Men's Championship 3 team were defeated 0-4 by Hobart United on the following day.

Last Sunday's home games proved to be an unsuccessful day for all our teams, with our WSL Development Team being defeated by a highly skilled Clarence Zebras team (0-6) and our Women's Championship 1 team being defeated by Nelson Eastern Suburbs (0-3). Our Women's Championship team looked to provide us with a glimmer of hope, marching into the Kelvedon change rooms at halftime with a 2-1 lead over the Newtown Eagles, however the second half provided an absolute goal-fest with the final score resting at 4-7 in favour of the opposition.

The Women's Championship team now has a bye, with the WSL team beginning their 2022 season after a bye in Round 1 with a road trip to Devonport where they take on the Strikers. The game will be broadcast on NPL.tv at 12.30pm if anyone wants to watch it remotely.

Looking to mid-week games, we have our U18 league kicking off with a home game against South Hobart, while our WSL Dev Team plays their Round 4 game at KGV against Kingborough Lions.
