SASS - Men's Charity Sponsor

Writer's picture: Taroona FCTaroona FC

Recently, our Senior Men's representative, Fabian Natoli, met with SASS (Sexual Assault Support Service) CEO, Sandi (pictured above). We are proud to announce that our Men's team has chosen SASS as their charity sponsor, which is the Club's way of raising awareness for a local organisation by displaying their logo on our playing strips.

Fabian says: "SASS is an incredible organisation that is doing really crucial work in our community, so I am really proud of our group for choosing to support them through our charity sponsor initiative. We hope this can help bring more awareness & support within our Club & wider football community to this important cause."

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Monday 15th of April marks SASS' 'Week of Action' in which the organisation raises funds and awareness for their Consent and Relationship Education (CARE) program. The CARE program provides an age-appropriate context for young people to better understand what consenting sounds, feels and looks like, and has reached some 3800 students in 17 schools, across grades 3 to 12.

If you would like to contribute to this great cause, please check out the Week of Action Humanitix link HERE, or donate directly to SASS HERE.
