Taroona FC EOS Dinner 2024

Writer: Taroona FCTaroona FC

Saturday 5th October saw players, coaches, members, friends and supporters of the Club all gather at The Old Woolstore for our Senior players End of Season Dinner.

It was a phenomenal night, with our well-seasoned MC Stefan Stimson ensuring the night was full of laughter, memories, celebrations, and all the good vibes you'd expect from a Taroona FC event!

Amongst the many special acknowledgements, we welcomed a new Life Member, of which there were only 3 members previously. In honour of her endless efforts and time spent dedicated to the Club, Karen Wills was named a Taroona FC Life Member! A huge congratulations to a humble and hard-working servant of the game, Willsy's presence as a coach will be sorely missed as she steps away from the WSL Head coach role, but she will continue to support the Club as Head of Women's Super League Program in the coming season.

A big thank you to everyone involved with organising the event, and a massive thanks to everyone who attended and joined in the celebrations. We extend our congratulations to the number of U18 Girls players who were able to join us on the night, and presented our President Sam Johnson with their Launceston Cup silverware that was recently won. Thank you to Josh Quigley for being the photographer for the night as well - all the photos from the event are available below. And finally, congratulations to the following Pirates for their achievements over the 2024 season!
