WOMEN'S COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT

We are absolutely pumped to formally announce our Southern Women's Championship Coach for 2024 - Tayla Thomas!

Tayla is no stranger to the football scene here in Tasmania, having been in Central Region and Southern teams as a youngster before making the Tasmanian State team through the years 2006-2009. Known for being a speedy, clinical forward, and throwing a cheeky bicycle kick into the mix when opportunity presented itself infront of goals, Tayla spent 3 years in the Tasmanian Institute of Sport program from 2007 onwards. Career highlights included a fiery playing tour in China (with many other former and current Pirates), playing at Coffs Harbour for the National Championships, and arriving at Taroona FC in 2012.

Tayla says: "[I'm] Excited to be back at Taroona and a part of the footballing community. Super keen to work with and learn from Willsy and Riley this year and build a strong championship team."

Welcome back Tayla! We look forward to having you back home at Kelvedon
