Esther Murphy - May VOTM

A huge thank you to Esther Murphy for all her hard work and efforts so far this year! Esther is our VOTM for the month of May.

Esther is the U12 boys team coach and has been for a long time. This is their first year with Taroona Football Club. By all accounts, Esther provides the kids in the team with a supportive environment where each player is made to feel like a valued member of the team. Esther has also taken on 4 of our very young youth players as assistants during her training sessions, and is mentoring and supporting them to develop their coaching skills. People like Esther are the lifeblood of our club and make a massive contribution to making us a successful community club.

Esther says, "Volunteering to coach your child’s team turns sport into a shared family activity. Coaching is so rewarding. Watching a swarm of prep kids develop over the years into a team, and of course it is a great laugh, we have so much fun."

Not only assisting our current players, but setting up our young future leaders as well, Esther's time and presence here at Taroona FC is invaluable! Thank you Esther for all your amazing work.

A huge thanks to Lindsay at LFD Personal Trainer & Massage Therapist for sponsoring this monthly award! Each recipient is awarded a $20 LFD voucher and a certificate recognising their achievement and thanking them for their hard work.
